LEARN TO SKATE  |  Canskate

Canskate is our learn to skate program.  It is the only nationally recognized learn to skate program offered by Skate Canada.  The curriculum is set to help those who have never skated up to those who would like a strong skating foundation that will lead them into Figure Skating, Hockey, Ringette, or Speed Skating.  REGISTER NOW

FIGURE SKATING PROGRAMS:

Junior

Our Junior program is set to give a beginning figure skater the correct technique in basic skating, spins and jumps.  It is important to start right, so you don't have to fix large errors down the road.  Lessons are in group format and cost is built into registration fees.  By invitation only.  New members with advanced skills may audition for the Director of Skating.  Request an audition

Intermediate

Once a skater has performed the first four jumps (waltz jump to loop jump) successfully for the Junior Development Coordinator, they will be recommended to the Director of Skating to enter the Intermediate program.  A personalized skating program to music will be choreographed.  Lessons are private, semi private or group and lessons fees are billed privately.  Request an audition

Senior

For mature and experienced skaters prepared to train in a fast paced environment.  Usually for those landing four double jumps minimum or working on silver or gold level skating evaluations.  Lessons are private or semi private and lessons are billed privately.  Request an audition
