Racquet Club of Victoria Skating Club
CanSkate Program
Start Here. Glide Forward. Grow With RCV.
CanSkate is Skate Canada’s official learn-to-skate program for children ages 2–10. No previous skating experience is required — just a willingness to get on the ice and give it a try!
Through fun, active 45-minute sessions, skaters build balance, control and agility while learning the fundamentals of skating in a supportive environment. Whether your child wants to skate for fun or eventually explore figure skating, hockey, ringette, speed skating or another ice sport, CanSkate gives them a strong foundation.
At the Racquet Club of Victoria, children learn with experienced coaches and program assistants who keep skaters moving, learning and having fun. With more than 50 years of skating in Victoria, RCV supports skaters from their very first steps on the ice through recreational skating and provincial and national-level competition.
